Terms of use

Article 1 Introduction These Terms of Use stipulate the terms of use for the kimono rental and associated services (hereinafter referred to as "this service") provided by Rental Kimono Lily (hereinafter referred to as "our company") at our stores. Those who use this service (hereinafter referred to as "users") agree to all of these terms and conditions, as well as all information provided on our website (collectively referred to as "these terms and conditions"). In the event of a problem with this service, the matter will be negotiated based on these terms and conditions, and matters not specified in these terms and conditions will be governed by the information provided at the place where this service is provided, laws and regulations, or general customs. This service is intended for personal enjoyment as a hobby, and kimonos provided by our company cannot be used in salons or specific gatherings, or used commercially, without our prior permission. If a user wishes to use the service in this way, they must contact us at least two weeks in advance of the reservation date, and we will individually negotiate the usage fee, etc. depending on the content of the use. This service is intended for those who can choose their own kimono and obi. Therefore, we may refuse entry if a guardian, rather than the customer, selects the kimono and obi, or if a guardian accompanies the customer. We will not allow accompanying persons (friends, photographers, etc.) who are not renting a kimono to enter the store. This service is not available to pregnant women. In the unlikely event that you do not inform us in advance that you are pregnant, our store will not be held responsible for any trouble that may occur.

Article 3 Reception and provision hours of this service The provision hours of this service are the hours listed on the website of each store. This service cannot be provided to those outside of the reservation time. Those outside of the reservation time cannot enter the store, and cannot wait inside or in front of the store. If you have made a reservation in two or more groups, please be sure to come at the reservation time for each group. Outside of the service hours, this service cannot be provided, and baggage cannot be stored or picked up. However, baggage of the next day return service user will be stored until the kimono is returned. In order to ensure the safety of users, etc., this service will be closed and this service will not be provided if a heavy rain (landslide, flooding), flood, storm, blizzard or heavy snow warning is issued within the city, ward, town or village of the store in question two hours before the opening of business. In this case, even if any disadvantage occurs to the user, the company will not be liable for any force majeure.

Article 2 Reservation Registration Procedures When using this service, the user shall, in principle, apply to use this service by entering the necessary information on our website. After receiving the application in the preceding paragraph, our company will accept the application by displaying a reservation confirmation on our website and sending the reservation confirmation email. This contract will come into effect when our company sends the reservation confirmation email. If our company applies to use this service by phone, email, or in person, the application method will be posted separately on our website and the user shall follow that guidance.

Article 4 Late fees for this service If you do not return to the store on time, you will be charged 3,000 yen per person and will have to return the item the next day. If the user does not contact the store in advance and obtain the consent of the staff, the store will close at the end of the service.

Article 5 We are only intended to store clothing, and we cannot store the following items because we cannot take responsibility for storing them: Valuables (house/car keys, luxury clothing/bags, jewelry, watches, cash, passports, etc.) Electronic devices (computers, cameras, game consoles, tablets, etc.) Explosive, flammable, or other dangerous items Living organisms, frozen or refrigerated items, fresh produce, fresh flowers, and other items that leak water or are prone to deterioration Items that violate public order and morals (including illegal drugs and other items prohibited by law) Items that are easily broken or deformed Items that cannot be turned sideways Any other items that we deem difficult to store Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if the user wishes to store any of the items listed in the preceding paragraph with us, the user agrees in advance that we shall not be liable for any loss (including theft), damage, water leakage, or other damage to such items.

Article 6 : Handling of Lost Items If a customer leaves something behind in our stores, we will handle it as follows, and the customer agrees to this in advance. Lost items such as passports, driver's licenses, credit cards, cash, or precious metals such as jewelry will be reported to the nearest police station. Items will be returned to the store only if the customer contacts us before we report the item to the police, but will not be returned by mail. Items left behind other than those described in the preceding paragraph will be deemed to have been abandoned, and will be disposed of, unless the customer contacts us within one week of the item being found. If the customer contacts us within the aforementioned period, the item will be returned by mail with postage due. The shipping date will be determined at our discretion.

Article 7 Disclaimer

Our company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users in relation to the provision of this service, unless such damage is attributable to our willful or negligent acts. In particular, our company shall not be liable in the following cases, as our company is not normally found negligent in such cases. The paint used in the material of the luggage container adheres to the contents of the luggage and causes color transfer. (Users are responsible for protecting items that may cause color transfer with plastic bags, etc.) Electronic devices, etc. falling out of clothing and being damaged when our staff helps users put on or take off clothing. (Users are responsible for storing electronic devices, etc. while putting on or taking off clothing.) The provision of this service is delayed from the scheduled date due to congestion or some other reason, resulting in delays to planned sightseeing, meals, performances, etc. 3. If the customer falls, is burned or otherwise injured inside the store due to failure to follow notices posted in the store or instructions/guidelines from staff (In this case, it is due to the customer's negligence and we cannot be held responsible. In particular, during hair styling, as high-temperature equipment is used for the treatment and there is a risk of being burned by the hair iron, please try to remain as still as possible and follow the instructions of staff.) If baggage is lost or changed due to a natural disaster, incident or other force majeure If damage is incurred by the user due to other reasons beyond our control (for example, we are not responsible for burns caused by a hand warmer, deterioration of hair extensions due to hair styling, or fading of color caused by a hair iron, as these are caused by the above reasons). For damage incurred by the user due to our negligence, we will only be liable for direct and ordinary damages (not including lost profits), and the amount of compensation will be limited to 10,000 yen.
